An Intergenerational HIV Prevention and Empowerment Workshop
for Women and Girls
in recognition of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Registration and light breakfast will take place at 8:30am. Lunch will be provided.

We invite girls (age 13-22) and their role models and caregivers (mothers, grandmothers, teachers, social service providers, and counselors) and other adult allies interested in improving the health and wellbeing of all girls to join us for an educational workshop about HIV, healthy sexuality, and healthy relationships.

Sessions will aim to increase the number of young women who know how HIV/AIDS is transmitted and believe HIV/AIDS is a serious health problem/risk for people their age. Presenters will provide accurate information and resources about HIV/AIDS, self-worth, healthy relationships, empowerment, and effective communication skills.
